The Week That Was Not - Different

Saturday is to sleep dead, Sunday early to bed,
Monday is the day to work, Tuesday to pray to God,
Wednesday does a balancing act, Thursday to turn the track,
Friday is to see the sun-rise, work a little, wipe the cries..

Days in a week, is a count of seven,
the same boring cycle repeats in a fashion round robbin,
Monday reminds hell while Friday is heaven...
make a mistake, its never forgiven..

Life seems puzzled, time seems stolen,
Fun became a baked cake, ice-hard frozen,
trying it mid -week is considered ill-humane,

Spirituality expects to enjoy every moment each day,
businesses demands more of you to stay,
Lost in the thought whom to listen, what to say,
mind keep searching for the path, the way

Calender on walls go missing since Jan,
Outlook invites then pinches like thorns,
Length of day itself now varies,
ends with a value: good, ok, scary...

Pre-defined tasks have taken the front seat,
"Randomness" has no place, not even as a cheat,
Life once called a bed of roses,
is still at the same place, all we did is to wrap it with a blank-sheet...

Salute to the 33 miners in Chile who redefined Courage, Determination and Meaning of Life

They're all out: 33 miners raised safely in Chile. This is the news heading which caught my attention (and of the world)  today. The news story is about the 33 miners who got trapped in a Gold Mine in Chile on Aug 5, 2010 as the roof the mine collapsed and their extraordinary story of survival [Search Amazon.com for survival stories]. The rescue operations which was estimated to go as far as 4 months completed in just 68 days and 8 hrs and today the last miner was rescued safe from the mine to breath the free air. Luis Urzua, one among the trapped miners emerged as a Great Leader in this difficult time as he manged to keep the faith for survival alive among his colleagues whey they were fighting death deep down the earth. He insisted throughout this journey beneath the earth that the key to getting themselves out alive would be la solidaridad (solidarity). At the end of this survival battle, today,  he has proved his belief with tremendous support from his colleagues. Today the entire world salutes them for the courage and strength these men have shown to raise the bar of human potential and fighting spirit. He greets the free world today with below words, immediately after his rescue: "We have done what the entire world was waiting for. We had strength, we had spirit, we wanted to fight, we wanted to fight for our families, and that was the greatest thing."

Life I Dreamt?

I feel... sometime,
Not all time... is mine,
Is this... a way to live?
Is this... we call Life.

I search...for happyness,
Wat i find ...deep sighs,
I tried... my level best,
In my hand... just a bitter pie

I miss those... days,
I miss those... nights,
When i was... at home,
Happyness... by my side

I have lost...those golden days
I have lost ...that time,
Now it’s only me...alone
And with me is...binary Life

Now I live...for myself,
I earn... for my life,
But, I think sometime,
Was money...my only dream?
For which I studied...whole Life,

Was this... those books taught me?
Was this...I learnt of Life.

I wish...to change this,
I wish...to move out,
But still... what holds me,
Is my fear...to fail again?
And be called… a Waste Life
